There are 2 different types of Radiant Floor Heating - electric and hydronic. Both produce heat that is more even and more efficient than forced hot air or baseboard heating, reducing heating costs by 25 to 50%. If you are prone to allergies, Radiant Floor Heating reduces dust mites from blowing around in traditional ducted heating by 80%. New homes are the best candidates for Radiant Floor Heat but older homes can be retrofitted or even just a kitchen or bathroom.
